Eleven 11 Recruitment is recruiting for an Assistant Service Manager based in Birchington-on-Sea. This full-time role supports a three-adult learning disability/complex needs service with a strong emphasis on person-centred care and safeguarding.

You will work with the Service Manager to ensure daily service delivery, lead staff, recruit and develop the team, and provide direct support as needed in a busy supported living setting.

Qualifications

• Experience within health and social care, ideally in a supervisory or senior support position.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and meet service requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach.
• Ability to lead by example and support a team effectively.

Assistant Service Manager | Birchington-on-Sea

Eleven 11 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Service Manager opportunity based at Birchington-on-Sea.

Full Time - Supported Living

£29,012 per annum (pro rata) + £1,200 Complexity Enhancement per annum.

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Service Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding person-centred support. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care professional who enjoys leading by example and supporting individuals with complex needs to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

About the Service

This supported living service provides tailored support for three adults with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour. The service focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing and individual choice while ensuring the right level of support is provided in a safe and compassionate environment.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of building positive relationships, providing consistent support, and promoting high-quality outcomes for individuals with varying needs.

The Role

As Assistant Service Manager, you will work alongside the Service Manager to support the effective day-to-day running of the service while maintaining high standards of care and operational delivery.

Working Pattern

Flexibility is essential for this role and applicants should be able to work across a varied rota which may include:

• Early and late shifts
• Weekend and bank holiday working
• Participation in an on-call rota where required
• Occasional sleep-in or waking night duties where necessary
• Dedicated administration time to support operational responsibilities
