This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a large, experienced SEND team within a school that is committed to delivering outstanding support for students with additional needs.
The role is initially for at least one full term, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The school has one of the highest numbers of EHCPs in Greater Manchester, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SEND environment and is passionate about ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed.
We are ideally looking for candidates who have previously worked as an Assistant SENDCo, although applicants with experience in similar SEND leadership or coordination roles are also encouraged to apply. This is a senior position requiring excellent initiative, strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated SEND team.
You will play a key role in supporting the SENDCo with the day-to-day management of SEND provision, coordinating meetings with external agencies and parents/carers, contributing to EHCP reviews, and ensuring students receive high-quality, tailored support across the school.
