Job summary

Cover People is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students with additional needs at a welcoming secondary special needs school in Salford. The role is full-time, with a long-term contract and potential for permanency, running Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.

This is a great opportunity for a position as a full time SEND Teaching Assistant at a welcoming & well-run secondary special needs school in Salford. You’ll support secondary-aged children, including those with additional needs, such as Autism & Complex Needs, helping them thrive in their learning journey.

The SEND Teaching Assistant Role:

Start Date: Tuesday 1st Sept 2026.

Contract: Long-term, with potential for permanency.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm.

Pay: £95-110 per day (DOE), paid PAYE directly through Cover People.
