We are recruiting an Assistant Restaurant Manager for an exceptional 5-star luxury resident hotel in Northumberland, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to take full responsibility for a beautiful restaurant within a stunning country estate. The role offers an excellent work life balance as the shifts are either up until 6pm or 8pm.

Set within four acres of beautiful Northumberland countryside, this unique property provides a luxurious hotel-style environment for its residents, combining exceptional facilities with warm, highly personalised hospitality.

The restaurant offers a genuinely high standard of service in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, with guest engagement and creating memorable experiences at the heart of the operation.

This is a hands-on management position where you will take full responsibility for the restaurant, leading a small team and ensuring consistently excellent standards across service.

• £15.77 per hour
• Full-time position, 44+ hours over 4 days
• Mainly daytime hours, typically 8am–6pm with some 8am–8pm shifts

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading the team and ensuring residents receive an exceptional level of service and hospitality.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality management role and be a confident, proactive, and well-respected leader.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:

You will be passionate about hospitality, naturally engaging with guests, and able to motivate a small team to consistently deliver excellent service. Strong organisational and computer skills are essential, alongside a caring and compassionate approach.

Experience within a luxury hotel, residential, care, or similar guest-focused environment would be advantageous.
