Job summary

Select Appointments is recruiting an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious independent luxury hotel in Newmarket. This role oversees a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, bar and spa operation, and leads a professional team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will be hands-on, on the floor, and responsible for leading the F&B team, maintaining luxury service standards, and supporting the Restaurant & Bar Manager in day-to-day service.

We’re recruiting for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious independent luxury hotel in Newmarket.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong F&B Supervisor or Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next step with a property that genuinely cares about service, standards and its people.

You’ll work across a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, bar and spa operation, supporting the Restaurant & Bar Manager and leading a professional team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The Role

You’ll be hands‑on and visible, helping to run the operation and lead the team from the front.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating the F&B team
• Delivering outstanding guest service
• Maintaining luxury service standards
• Supporting the Restaurant & Bar Manager
• Ensuring smooth day‑to‑day service
• Training and developing team members
• Maintaining strong product and F&B knowledge

This is a great role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team and making sure every detail is right.
