Job summary

Foxhills Collection is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the Manor Lounge & Lomri Restaurant teams in Ottershaw. This role requires supervisory experience, strong leadership and a commitment to exceptional dining experiences.

You will oversee staff performance, service standards, and collaborate with kitchen operations to ensure smooth service, accuracy and guest satisfaction. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, preferably fine dining or upscale.
• Ability to lead staff, maintain service standards and customer focus.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and high-end beverage/service operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations and budgets.
• Train, mentor and motivate staff to achieve exceptional service.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure seamless service and timely delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies and manage costs and revenue.
• Contribute to strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance
• Train, mentor, and motivate restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to company standards
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service flow and timely delivery of food and beverages
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and proactive manner
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage restaurant budgets and expenses
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry, preferably in a fine dining or upscale environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
