Job summary

Foxhills Collection, located at Farleigh Golf Club, Ottershaw, Surrey, invites you to join its Food and Beverage team as a Food and Beverage Assistant. You will help in the restaurant, bar and banquets, delivering friendly service and supporting guests from arrival to departure.

This casual, zero-hours role is ideal for people who enjoy a fast-paced hospitality environment, with ongoing training, flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and opportunities to grow within the resort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food and beverage role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of food and beverages in restaurant, bar and banquet facilities.
• Greet guests, take orders and ensure prompt delivery of food and drinks.
• Maintain dining areas' cleanliness and reset tables for next service.
• Provide menu suggestions and accommodate dietary requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle payments and cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages in our restaurant, bar, and banquet facilities
• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food and drinks
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next service
• Provide recommendations on menu items and specials, and accommodate special dietary requests or preferences
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
• Handle payments, process transactions accurately, and maintain cash handling procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food and beverage role preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus
