Job summary

Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel and Spa is seeking an enthusiastic Bar staff member to join its team. You will be the face of our bars and contribute to delivering excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include taking and serving orders, maintaining bar cleanliness, and collaborating with restaurant staff to upsell products. You must be 18+ to legally serve alcohol and can commute from Rochdale or relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven bar experience required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Polite, friendly attitude and strong communication.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18+ to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bar areas with attention to sanitation and order.
• Take and serve orders.
• Answer questions or recommend complementary products.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Deal with complaints with a positive attitude.
• Issue bills and accept payment.
