Atmos Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor near Bristol. You will support valuations, measurement, procurement and cost forecasting to help deliver projects up to £5m within a 40-50 mile radius.

The role splits time between site and office, offering mentoring and real opportunities for career progression into senior roles. A construction related degree or HNC/HND is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in construction or quantity surveying preferred.
• Keen to learn with clear progression opportunities.
• Client-facing with professional demeanor.
• Organised and proactive, able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit valuations for clients.
• Measure and value works, track costs.
• Manage and administer contract changes.
• Procure materials and subcontractors.
• Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts.
• Assist with final account agreements and settlements.
