Leading civil engineering main contractor seeks to employ an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience of using the NEC form of contract, to support the delivery of a project in Southend.

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial delivery of a £7 million civil engineering project which is part of a long-term framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of various projects, including overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
• You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
• As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS), you will assist in the commercial management of one of the projects.
