Leading civil engineering main contractor seeks to employ a Quantity Surveyor with experience of using the NEC form of contract, to support the delivery of a project in Southend.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial delivery of a £7 million civil engineering project, which is part of a long-term framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects. This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
2. You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
3. As a Quantity Surveyor (QS), you will work on your own project and collaborate closely with the other site's commercial team to look for efficiencies.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering sector.
