Job summary

CYGNET Broughton House is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support the psychological care of adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. You will assist the Qualified Psychologist with assessments, scoring, reporting and care planning.

Based at Broughton House with coverage across nearby sites, the role requires a Master’s in Psychology (preferable) and BPS accreditation, and a commitment to working in an interdisciplinary team within a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)
• BPS accredited status
• Experience in health care or Assistant Psychologist role preferred
• Passionate about learning and interdisciplinary teamwork

Responsibilities

• Contribute to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal/written)
• Develop clinical formulation and implement care plans for psychological treatment
• Plan, deliver and evaluate individual and group programmes
• Assist with administration, audit, research and service development
