Job summary

Cygnet Health Care's Broughton House in Brant Broughton is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support the Qualified Psychologist, contribute to assessments and treatment planning, and help deliver care within a multidisciplinary team.

This 40-hour-per-week role, Monday to Friday, includes DBS clearance, ongoing CPD opportunities, and benefits such as a pension, employee assistance programme, and meals on shift, with a starting salary of £29,642.55 per year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent; BPS Accredited
• Master's degree level in Psychology preferred
• Health care/Assistant Psychologist experience preferred

We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Broughton House and the Satellites.

The post holder will be based at:

Broughton House, 12 High Street, Brant Broughton, LN5 0SL and cover other sites within the area.

This role will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your Day-to-Day

We are seeking an academically strong candidate to support and enhance the psychological care of patients at the service by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with;

• Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
• Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
• Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
• Administration, audit, research and service development

We're looking for someone who is

• Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
• BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
• Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
• Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
