Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join Lowry House and Woodrow House in Hyde. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, to help improve lives across specialist residential services.

You will contribute to assessments, clinical formulation, care planning and group programmes, with opportunities for CPD and research involvement. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Assessment scoring, verbal and written reporting.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Interdisciplinary teamwork is essential.

We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Lowry House and Woodrow House. This role will be working full time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Lowry House is a specialist residential service, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge, including those with mental health needs.

Woodrow House is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

Your Day-to-Day

• Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
• Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
• Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
• Administration, audit, research and service development

We're looking for someone who is

• Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
• BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
• Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
• Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Qualified toMaster's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
