Job summary

Wolverhampton Homes is seeking an Assistant Property Supervisor to help co-ordinate day-to-day repairs, planned maintenance and property improvement programmes, supporting residents and leaseholders to live in safe, well-maintained homes.

You will work with Repairs Managers and Supervisors, monitor contractors, deliver high-quality services, and develop your construction knowledge, including pursuing an HNC in Building Studies or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance, construction, or social housing.
• Clear, effective communicator with written and verbal skills.
• Good ICT skills and confidence using a range of software applications.
• Willingness to learn about social housing regulatory framework and tenant standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor contractors and in-house teams to ensure safety and quality.
• Support repairs, planned maintenance, and improvement programmes.
• Complete quality inspections, handovers, and customer feedback surveys.
• Liaise with residents, contractors, and stakeholders to progress works.
• Investigate complaints and resolve customer concerns.
