Job summary

WSP UK is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of high-value infrastructure projects for education and similar clients. You will assist leadership, help manage programmes, cost and quality, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to keep activities on track.

This role offers hybrid working across the UK, development opportunities, and a culture that values inclusion and responsible delivery on complex schemes that benefit communities.

Qualifications

• Experience on public sector projects, especially education.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations applicable to infrastructure projects, CDM knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of projects from RIBA 1 to 6, providing consultancy PM service.
• Assist in developing plans and strategies to deliver project objectives.
• Support and manage the project team.
• Assist in resolving differences between stakeholders.
• Support the Lead Consultant in contract approvals and monitoring variances.
• Produce Feasibility Reports input gathering and reporting to client.
• Monitor progress against programmes and suggest mitigations when timescales vary.
