Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager to join its Intelligent Infrastructure team in the UK, delivering operations and safety projects across transport clients. The role focuses on leading projects, managing budgets, and ensuring client outcomes while collaborating with a broad internal network.

The position offers hybrid working from UK offices with flexible hours, training opportunities, and a pathway to Chartership.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent project management experience.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies across lifecycle stages.
• Project management qualification such as APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to lead and mentor other project team members.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of project management services and lead delivery of projects on time, within budget, with primary client interface.
• Manage project budgets and finances, including invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on Oracle ERP.
• Ensure delivery of client outcomes while meeting utilisation targets; review performance with the Project Director.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
• Deliver reports, presentations, project documentation and PM documentation including status reports and quality plans.
• Direct development and deployment of project control and management methodologies to support proposals and delivery.
