Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager to join the Intelligent Infrastructure Operations & Safety team, delivering market-leading project management services for transport clients in the UK and overseas.

The role requires experience across project lifecycles, budget control, and leadership responsibilities. WSP offers a hybrid working policy, development opportunities including Chartership, and a diverse, inclusive culture with a global network of professionals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or relevant experience.
• Awareness of project management methodologies and lifecycle experience.
• Relevant PM qualification (APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or ITIL Foundation).
• Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle ERP systems.
• Ability to lead and mentor other project team members.
• Able to multi-task and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of project management services and leadership to deliver projects on time, within quality and budget.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on Oracle ERP.
• Ensure client outcomes while meeting utilisation targets and reviewing performance with the Project Director.
• Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams at all levels.
• Produce reports, presentations, and project documentation including PM plans and financial control documents.
• Direct the development and deployment of project control methodologies for proposals and delivery.
