Job summary

ITS Construction Professionals South is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Winchester. You will oversee education-focused construction projects from inception to completion, coordinating clients, consultants and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates will have strong PM skills, experience with new-build and refurbishment work, and a track record in client-facing roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager within construction.
• Delivery of both new-build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong PM and organisational skills.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Understanding procurement and contract processes.
• Experience in education or public sector advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications such as RICS, CIOB or APM beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage new-build and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate and manage design teams, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support clients through procurement and tender processes.
• Monitor project progress, cost, quality and programme.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates and reports to clients.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and potential delays.
• Manage changes to project scope, cost and programme.
• Provide professional advice and guidance to clients throughout the project.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team of project managers and client advisors.
• Assist with the successful delivery of education projects across a varied portfolio.
