Qualifications

• Proven construction Project Management experience.
• Experience in consultancy environment desirable.
• Experience across pre-construction and construction stages.
• Understanding of JCT and NEC contracts advantageous.
• RICS/CIOB/APM accreditation, or working towards professional qualification, desirable.
• Strong client-facing, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a growing construction consultancy team in Winchester, delivering a varied portfolio of projects across sectors including defence, higher education and healthcare.This role would suit an experienced construction Project Manager looking to take greater ownership of projects, develop strong client relationships and broaden their experience across the full project lifecycle. Role & Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Manage construction projects through pre-construction and delivery stages


• Take ownership of projects and ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives


• Coordinate multidisciplinary professional teams, consultants and contractors


• Develop project programmes and monitor progress throughout delivery


• Prepare project reports, programmes and other key documentation


• Manage project risks, issues and stakeholder expectations


• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients


• Contribute to client meetings and presentations


• Work across a varied portfolio including defence, higher education and healthcare projects


• Support the continued development and growth of the Winchester Project Management team

Skills & Experience:

• Proven construction Project Management experience


• Experience working within a consultancy environment desirable


• Experience across both pre-construction and construction stages


• Degree in Project Management, Building Surveying or another construction-related discipline desirable


• Understanding of JCT and NEC contracts would be advantageous


• RICS, CIOB or APM accreditation, or working towards professional qualification, desirable


• Strong client-facing, communication and problem-solving skills


• Confident managing projects and coordinating professional teams


• Ambitious with a desire to progress within Project Management

Salary & Benefits:

• £40,000 - £50,000 salary
