Job summary

WSP is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for PMCM - Buildings to support delivery of high value infrastructure projects, including education sector work. You will assist with programme, cost and quality management across multidisciplinary teams, while liaising with clients and consultants.

You will work within a hybrid model, contributing to feasibility, planning, and contract management activities, and supporting leadership to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with public sector projects, especially education, is desirable.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations applicable to infrastructure, CDM in particular.
• Experience across project stages from Feasibility to Operation.
• Experience procuring contractors and achieving contract close.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams for a client.
• Experience developing and managing programmes and risks.

Responsibilities

• Support management of projects from RIBA 1 to 6 with consultancy PM services.
• Assist in developing plans and strategies to meet project objectives.
• Support and manage the project team.
• Assist in identifying and resolving interests among stakeholders.
• Assist Lead Consultant in contracts and compliance with legal reps.
• Contribute to Feasibility Reports and deliver high quality outputs.
• Monitor progress against programmes and support mitigation where needed.
