Job summary

WSP is hiring an Assistant Project Manager (PMCM - Buildings) to support the delivery of high-value infrastructure projects for education clients and similar schemes. You will assist in managing programmes, cost, and quality across multidisciplinary teams, delivering activities from feasibility to operation.

This is a hybrid role across UK offices with opportunities to grow within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

Experience on public sector projects with Local and Central Government agencies, Education desirable.
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations applicable to infrastructure projects, CDM regulations.
Experience across project stages from Feasibility through to Operation desirable.
Experience supporting procurement and contract close on projects.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams for client delivery.
Experience developing and managing programmes and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

Support management of projects from RIBA 1 to 6, providing consultancy PM services.
Assist development of plans and strategies to deliver project objectives.
Support and manage the project team.
Identify and resolve differences between stakeholders and teams.
Assist Lead Consultant in contracts, liaising with legal and monitoring compliance.
Assist in Feasibility Reports, coordinating inputs and delivering high-quality reports.
Monitor and report progress against programmes and advise on mitigations.
