Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager (Minor Works) to join our Estates Development team. You will manage refurbishment, maintenance and Statutory Compliance projects across LJMU's estate, coordinating with academic and professional services, consultants and contractors to deliver high-quality facilities.
You will develop briefs, programmes and cost estimates, procure and administer contracts, manage budgets and report on progress.
Reporting to the Head of Maintenance and Infrastruture, you will take responsibility for managing and delivering a portfolio of minor capital and revenue-funded projects from inception through to completion. You will act as a key interface between academic and professional service departments, external consultants, contractors and other stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within approved budgets.
