About

Assistant Project Manager - £32,000 + Bonuses – Altrincham, Manchester (WA14)/ Hybrid

The Role

Do you have at least two years' experience in project management, project coordination, or similar? Are you confident juggling multiple deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join Morula Health on a temporary basis to cover a 12-month maternity leave. This is a full-time, hybrid position with attendance in the office required 3 days per week.

You will play a key role in the business and will be immersed in all aspects of project management from administration, to budgeting, and process improvement. We are looking for someone who brings initiative and isn’t afraid to put forward ideas that help us improve how we work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and support the smooth running of regulatory writing projects to ensure the objectives of the clients and Morula Health are met.
  2. Proactively maintain accurate documentation, including project SharePoint sites, meeting minutes, timesheets, status reports, databases, and financial trackers.
  3. Manage logistics to support the project team’s activities and attend regular internal and client meetings.
  4. Prepare budgets, invoices, and monitor the financial status of each project, ensuring margins are maintained and early action is taken with clients where project specifications change.
  5. Assist the leadership team with regulatory writing freelancer management, including tracking individual capacity and contract management.
  6. Administer and manage user access and archiving upon project completion.

The Person
  • At least two years of experience in project coordination, project management, or similar roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), LinkedIn, and other office software and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
  • Professional, courteous, and flexible attitude.
  • Passionate about healthcare and life sciences, creating value for customers.
