Real World Services Limited in Weymouth is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join our management team. You will support the Operations Manager, coordinate site operations and staff across multiple contracts, and act as a main contact for clients and teams.
The role requires leadership, calm decision-making, and a hands-on approach. Flexibility for full-time or part-time work, with some out-of-hours cover, is essential.
Salary: From £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time or part-time opportunities considered, with flexibility required
Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Real World Services is looking for an experienced, highly organised and motivated individual to join our management team as Assistant Operations Manager.
Working closely with our Operations Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of our busy security and facilities services business, helping coordinate staff, manage operational requirements and maintain the high standards our clients expect.
This is a varied, hands-on position that combines operational management, administration, staff coordination and client communication.
We’re looking for someone who can think on their feet, remain calm under pressure and take responsibility when challenges arise.
You don’t necessarily need a background in security. If you have experience managing people and operations in another fast-paced environment, we’d be interested in hearing from you.
We recognise that the right management experience doesn’t always come from the security industry.
For candidates with the skills, attitude and experience we’re looking for, we can provide industry-specific training, including support to obtain the necessary SIA licence.
You’ll work closely with our experienced Operations Manager, developing the knowledge and confidence to take greater responsibility within the business.
We are happy to consider both full-time and part-time applicants and can discuss working arrangements with the right candidate.
The role will require some flexibility, including the ability to provide operational management cover when required and participate in agreed out-of-hours support arrangements.
This is an opportunity to take on a meaningful role in an established, growing business where your organisational skills, experience and judgement will make a genuine difference.
You’ll enjoy a varied working environment, the opportunity to develop new skills and a position with real responsibility and scope for progression.
If you’re a confident people manager who enjoys solving problems, keeping things organised and making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
