Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Watford is looking for an inspiring Assistant Nursery Manager to join our team. You will work with the Nursery Manager to lead staff, ensure high-quality care and education, and support occupancy and growth across the setting.

We value EYFS expertise, energy, and a collaborative approach. A full and relevant childcare qualification is required; the role sits within our established nursery group, offering rewards and opportunities to develop with us.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality and Compliance: Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands-on support in rooms.
• Inspire and Support the Team: Engage actively with children's learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas - from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.
• Drive Success and Growth: Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high-quality setting for children and families.
