Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Watford is seeking a very experienced Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the nursery. You will work with the Directors, lead the team, and drive occupancy growth while maintaining high standards.

The role is a 40-hour week with a salary around £50k depending on experience. The nursery emphasises strong links with families and compliance with Ofsted requirements in a large setting.

Qualifications

• Required Level 3 or higher Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day nursery operations with Directors.
• Lead setting through Ofsted inspections.
• Grow occupancy and develop the nursery team.
• Run a large nursery setting and manage its operations.

About our Clients

This Beautiful Nursery in Watford are seeking a very experienced Nursery Manager to support the day to day operations of the Nursery, working with the Directors, you will need to have taken a setting through an Ofsted Inspection, have experience of growing Occupancy and Team. Have experience of running a large setting. 40 hour week, 5 days, salary is being offered c£50k depending on experience. Great transport links and onsite parking.
