Job summary

Singapore Recreation Club is seeking a Sports Assistant Manager to support the Sports Manager in daily operations, coordinating events and managing staff. You will ensure a positive participant experience, liaise with coaches, and help administer facilities and budgets.

The role emphasizes program development, event execution, and maintaining accurate records while fostering a collaborative, safe, and inclusive environment for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sports or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and plan workload efficiently.
• Experience in event planning or coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing sports programs and events.
• Collaborate with coaches and staff for smooth operations during practices and competitions.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Support in publicity and marketing for events with SRC Plasma screen, website, bulletins and posters.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors, members and guests.
• Assist in budgeting and administration for corporate packages and facility bookings.
• Maintain records of registrations, attendance and performance.
• Manage scheduling of facilities and inventory of equipment.
