Old Success Inn in Sennen Cove seeks an experienced hospitality professional to lead and motivate the team in the General Manager's absence. You will ensure a warm guest welcome, uphold service standards, and support Front and Back of House during peak times.

With a focus on food quality, staff development, and strict health and safety compliance, you will model best practice and drive continuous improvement while aiming for career progression toward GM.

Qualifications

• Leadership of hotel/inn team in absence of GM.
• Deliver warm guest welcome and consistent service quality.
• Monitor guest feedback and maintain high standards.
• Support Front and Back of House during peak times.
• Oversee quality of food offering and support Kitchen Team.
• Provide guidance and development to team members.
• Manage admin and cash handling systems in daily operations.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

• Lead when GM is away and motivate staff to perform.
• Create a warm, guest-focused welcome from first contact.
• Respond to guest feedback and drive standards improvements.
• Support all team members across FOH and BOH during busy periods.
• Oversee food quality and liaise with Kitchen team to maintain menus.
• Mentor staff and support career development toward GM.
• Keep admin/cash processes accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
