The Anchor Inn, part of the Butcombe Group, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in the Hampshire countryside. You will work alongside the General Manager to lead a hands-on team, delivering outstanding guest experiences across a new refurbishment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/Assistant Manager role within busy hospitality venues such as pubs, restaurants or hotels.
• Natural people person who leads from the floor and motivates a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day pub operations, ensuring high hospitality standards.
• Help build and develop a strong team ahead of reopening.
• Lead by example to maintain service excellence and warm guest experiences.
• Coach, develop and motivate team members and foster a positive culture.
• Take ownership of guest journeys, resolve issues promptly and empathetically.
• Assist with rotas, stock control and compliance to meet commercial targets.
