Job summary

Loungers is hiring an Assistant Manager for Alento Lounge. You’ll support the General Manager, lead a team, and ensure guests leave happy. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a 48-hour contract (40 hours possible) and a competitive package including bonus and overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality roles at supervisor/assistant manager level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams on busy shifts.
• Strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of shifts (opens/closes/weekends) and delegate tasks.
• Coach team with regular feedback to ensure high standards.
• Manage rotas, stock, labour, and KPIs with the GM support.
• Handle customer complaints with confidence and sound judgement.
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
• Be a welcoming on-floor host and protect the Lounges reputation.
