Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager for Candelo Lounge in the UK. You will support the General Manager, lead a team, and ensure guests leave happy. The role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), competitive salary, bonus, overtime pay, and clear progression paths within a growing hospitality brand.

You’ll be involved in rostering, team development, and delivering strong customer service while driving performance and a welcoming atmosphere on the floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality roles as Supervisor/Assistant Manager.
• Ability to lead shifts and motivate teams on the floor.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of shifts (opens/closes/weekends) and delegate tasks while engaging the team.
• Coach your team through regular feedback to create a positive work environment.
• Manage rotas, stock, labour, and KPIs to support the General Manager.
• Handle escalated customer complaints with good judgement and ensure allergen and food safety standards.
• Assist recruitment of new starters and help them settle in from day one.
• Be a visible, welcoming host on the floor and boost the Lounges reputation.
