Job summary

Boots is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and support a store team, delivering excellent customer care and strong commercial results. You will coach staff, manage day-to-day operations and ensure safety, compliance, and efficient stock control on the shop floor.

You will report to the Store Manager and help shape the customer experience, balancing people, performance and store performance while pursuing career growth within Boots.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to drive performance and results.
• Understanding of compliance, safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support your team on the shop floor and role model great care and strong commercial performance.
• Plan, schedule, staff and prioritise workload to run the store daily.
• Maintain high store standards: cleanliness, safety and ease of shopping; manage stock and loss prevention.
• Ensure store is compliant by completing audits and risk assessments; use data to identify opportunities.
