Job summary

Loungers’ Zafferano Lounge in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager for a full-time role. You’ll support the General Manager, lead shifts, motivate the team, and help ensure every guest leaves happy.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality settings (restaurants, bars, cafés) in supervisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead shifts and manage a team.
• Strong guest service mindset and conflict resolution.
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding of new staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of shifts (opens/closes/weekends) and delegate tasks to the team.
• Coach staff through regular feedback to maintain high standards.
• Understand rotas, stock, labour, and KPIs to support the General Manager.
• Handle customer complaints with confidence and maintain allergen and food safety standards.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
• Be a visible, welcoming host on the floor and promote the Lounges reputation.
