Job summary

Barons Pub Co is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for its Crown and Cushion site, a high-volume venue with a full-service restaurant, events space, and outdoor patio. The role requires leadership of 10+ front-of-house staff and a track record in fast-paced food-led operations.

The successful candidate will drive staff development, uphold Barons’ values and ensure profitable, compliant operations while delivering excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in managing teams of 10+ front-of-house staff in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience in a high-volume hospitality environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning, organising and managing pub activities.
• Develop staff to deliver outstanding hospitality and customer service.
• Support the General Manager to ensure the business is profitable and compliant with company standards.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced, standards-led hospitality professional looking to take on a new challenging role. The Crown and Cushion is a high-volume site with a large full-table-service restaurant, with a medieval function hall hosting weddings and all other events, and gorgeous outside patio area. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years previous experience of managing teams of 10+ front of house staff on service.

Successful candidates will have had 2 years experience in a fast-paced operation (food-led pub, restaurant or hotel) and preferably hold a clean driving licence.
