The Queen's Head in Burley, part of Greene King, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to drive standards, support the team and seize growth opportunities. - Developing your team: Coach, motivate and support colleagues, helping them grow in confidence and deliver their best.
- Driving business performance: Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve profitability and build a loyal customer base.
- Bringing new ideas to life: Help develop and deliver events planned for next year, creating reasons for guests to visit and return.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Manager with previous hospitality management experience, who is ready to take ownership and help a business grow.

The confidence to lead from the front in a busy, hands‑on role.
Strong people skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive, creative approach, with enthusiasm for helping develop events and grow the pub's reputation.
You’ll be someone who enjoys being part of the local community, takes pride in their surroundings and is excited by the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of a much-loved country pub.
As this role may involve covering the business in the General Manager's absence, you'll need to be eligible to hold a Personal Licence. You don't need to have one when you apply. If you're successful, Greene King will support you through the process of obtaining your licence.
