Superdrug in Swansea is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Designate who will travel between stores in your area, supporting where needed and developing your leadership skills.

You'll work with the store manager to recruit, motivate and inspire a team, drive sales through promotions and merchandising, and ensure strong stock control and audits. This role offers progression to a permanent store leadership position.

Lead with Confidence, Grow Your Career - Become an Assistant Store Manager Designate

Location: 35/36 The Quadrant, Swansea, Swansea SA1 3QW

Designate Role - willing to travel within 1 hour of your base store until assigned a permanent location.

Hours per Week: 39 hours

Shift pattern: Full-time - flexible shift patterns across mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends, will be discussed further at interview.

Salary: Up to £31,600per annum

The Role

As an Assistant Store Manager Designate, you'll travel between different stores in your area, supporting where you're needed most. It's a great way to meet new teams, build your skills, and enjoy plenty of variety in your day. You won't be on the move forever though-this role is designed to help you grow, with the goal of moving into a permanent store and developing your career.

Day to day you'll work alongside the store manager to:

• Recruit, inspire & motivate a passionate team to exceed targets.
• Drive sales through promotions, excellent merchandising, and stock control.
• Create a fun, engaging environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Ensure operational excellence, including audits, budgets, and stock management.

About you

• Bringing fresh ideas from your previous experience in retail management, ideally 1+ years
• Passion for customer service & sales.
• Strong decision-making & problem-solving skills.
• A results-driven mindset with a love for hitting targets.
• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers - with full training provided (Optional)
• This role involves travel across stores in the area; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
