Job summary

TC Group in the UK is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its award-winning service charge team in Milton Keynes. The role supports delivery of high-quality client service, oversees service charge accounts, and coaches junior staff as you progress toward Manager level.

You will work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and standards are met, while developing client relationships and gaining exposure to performance management and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting background with some experience reviewing work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident working independently and collaboratively
• Highly organised with a methodical approach to workload management
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
• Service charge accounting knowledge (desirable)
• Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop

Responsibilities

• Review service charge accounts and factual findings assignments, ensuring work is accurate and up to standard
• Support Managers in delivering client portfolios and meeting deadlines and standards
• Act as a key contact for clients and property managers, building professional relationships
• Assist with planning and allocation of work across the team for efficient delivery
• Support resolution of technical and operational issues, escalating where needed
• Contribute to high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery
• Coach and develop Senior and Executive Accountants through on-the-job support
• Assist Managers with performance management, onboarding and development activities
• Identify training needs and drive development plans
• Build personal brand to promote the team and maintain an active LinkedIn presence
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across the team
• Support adoption and development of ForSite across teams and clients
• Stay updated with sector developments and share knowledge across the team
