Job summary

MITCHELLS & BUTLERS PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager at the Merlin to support the General Manager in leading the team and delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will mentor, train, and manage daily operations, acting as Duty Manager when required to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

You will motivate your team to deliver food, drink, and service to be proud of, serving as a role model and guiding development within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/assistant management role preferred.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Proven track record of delivering guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Train and develop staff to deliver food, drink, and service.
• Act as Duty Manager when the General Manager is not on shift.
• Drive team engagement and contribute to business growth.
