Job summary

Caffè Nero is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Watford store. You will support the Store Manager with training and coaching, manage a busy team, and lead by example to deliver exceptional service to every customer.

You’ll help maintain store standards, handle deliveries, and ensure a safe, clean environment. A passion for coffee and customer care is essential, with training provided to grow your career within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a busy, customer-facing environment.
• Ability to coach and develop a team to drive standards.

Our Assistant Managers are second in command and are vital for the smooth running of the store, providing great service and supporting their team to do the same. They:

• Support the Store Manager with training, coaching and managing their team to drive standards and performance.
• Make fantastic coffee… and matcha… and seasonal drinks… every order is special! From bean to cup, they make each customer their coffee, exactly how they like it!
• Lead by example and provide great service, both in store and through deliveries. With our signature 1-2-1 service style, they ensure customers leave with a personalised experience.
• Keep the customer and back-of-house areas safe, clean, organised and ready for service. Some examples would be cleaning tables or ensuring toilets are kept to the high standards our customers expect.
• Take pride in what they do and always strive for excellence!

The starter rate for Assistant Managers in this location is £12.91 per hour, increasing to £13.06 with service.
