Job summary

Marston’s PLC is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team. You’ll lead from the front to deliver memorable guest experiences, while supporting the General Manager to achieve financial targets and KPIs. Aimed at individuals with passion for people and performance, you’ll help drive the pub's success and guest satisfaction.

You will have the opportunity to progress through our Aspire programme toward a General Manager role, with flexible and reliable hours and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a pub/restaurant team or similar environment.
• Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction and team performance.
• Comfort with achieving financial and KPI targets in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around.
• Lead from the front to create memorable guest experiences.
• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s; monitor performance on shifts.
• Be accountable for operations when deputising for the GM.

As an Assistant Manager you’ll:

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s
• Inspire and motivateyour pub team on every shift
• Be passionateabout doing the right thing for your team and guests
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM
• Bring previous experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a similar/ branded environment
