Job summary

Ole & Steen, the Danish bakery brand with about 30 years of heritage, opened in London Piccadilly in 2016 and brings artisanal baking to the heart of the city. We are looking for an Assistant Manager or Team Leader who can lead from the front, inspire the team, and deliver warm hospitality to guests in a fast-paced environment.

You will run shifts in the General Manager’s absence, support training, and uphold brand standards while enjoying shift food, staff discounts, a pension scheme, and a GP

Qualifications

• You are friendly and welcoming with an ability to make guests feel at home in your store.
• You will lead from the front and inspire your teams to provide a high level of experience.
• Experience in hospitality with drive to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Great communication skills to have real conversations with teams and guests.

Responsibilities

• Running the shift and being responsible for the store in the General Manager’s absence.
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the team is deployed effectively.
• Act as a role model for the team and ambassador for Ole and Steen with a positive attitude.
• Driving sales and KPI achievement in line with marketing campaigns.
• Provide clear handovers during shift changes and ensure action plans are recorded.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and uniform standards for self and team.
• Assist in training and supporting new team members with coaching and feedback.
• Open/close the store following company standards and maintain brand standards.
• Learn new skills and grow with us.
