Job summary

Miller & Carter - Newcastle is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running the site and leading a passionate team. You’ll mentor colleagues, drive guest experience and ensure high standards across service, food and operations.

You’ll act as a strong role model, supervise daily duties, and deliver moments that wow guests, while enabling development and growth within your team. You’ll be part of a team that embraces the Miller & Carter steak culture, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running of the business and act as Duty Manager when needed.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Be a role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guest and keep them coming back.
