Assistant Manager Role at Lounge

Lounges are unique places, and their brilliance is driven by the talented people who run them. As an Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in maintaining this excellence, delivering 14 great shifts to ensure every customer leaves satisfied. You will assist in the daily operations of the Lounge, including managing rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback. Your approach will be as high standards as ours, but tailored to your style. You'll do it your way. Brilliant!

This role involves attention to detail in driving sales, team retention, training, customer service, and maintaining high standards. You aim for your Lounge to be the community's top choice. It's a challenging role, but you are confident you can handle it.

What You Bring
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in restaurants, bars, cafés, or coffee shops
  • Experience working in a bar environment with food and drink service
  • A passion for hospitality and excellent people management skills, including talent spotting
  • Driven and persistent in overcoming challenges
  • Strong literacy skills and attention to detail for reporting KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust
  • Self-motivated, able to work at pace with minimal supervision under pressure
  • Knowledge of sales building, forecasting, reporting, recruitment, HR, and NPS best practices
