Job summary

Toby Carvery in Keighley, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and lead a team to deliver excellent guest experiences.

You will mentor staff, motivate the team, and ensure standards across food, drink and service while building a positive, enjoyable work environment for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hospitality management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Act as Duty Manager when the GM is not available.
• Lead by example to create a welcoming, high‑performing team.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS ASSISTANT MANAGER YOU’LL…
