Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Ship Inn at Ember Inns. You will support the General Manager, lead and develop a motivated team, and ensure an outstanding guest experience at the heart of the community.

You’ll mentor individuals to reach their potential, oversee daily operations, and model high standards of hospitality as part of a team that values engagement and pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running and act as Duty Manager when needed.
• Train and inspire the team to deliver food, drink and service to a high standard.
• Be the role model and guide development within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver moments that WOW our guests and keep them coming back.
