Job summary

Frasers Group in Castleford is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team on a permanent, 30-hour week basis. Working alongside the Store Manager, you will help with the day-to-day running of the store, support and motivate the team, deliver excellent customer service and help drive sales to meet store targets.

You will be involved in stock control, merchandising, cash handling and opening/closing routines, and you will take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience would be advantageous.
• Confident in supporting and motivating a team.
• Customer and sales focus with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to deliver great service.
• Help drive sales and achieve targets.
• Oversee stock control and merchandising.
• Handle cash and opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain high store standards and presentation.
• Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
