Job summary

The Jolly Sailor, part of Almond Family Pubs, invites an Assistant Manager to lead a busy Stockport pub and drive guest satisfaction. You’ll work with an experienced management team to shape service standards, coach staff and ensure smooth shifts.

Earn £14.40 per hour plus excellent tips (up to £3 per hour), with flexible rosters and progression opportunities within the group. You’ll be supported to develop your leadership career in a family-run, award-winning pub family.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing in hospitality.
• Ability to lead a busy team and manage shifts.
• Strong focus on delivering great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of our busiest pubs by planning and guiding confident shifts.
• Coach and support the team every day to maintain service standards.
• Deliver brilliant guest experiences and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Assist recruitment, training and onboarding and help achieve labour, sales and service targets.
