Job summary

Almond Family Pubs in Stockport area is seeking Kitchen Assistants to support the kitchen team. No experience is required, just a great attitude and willingness to learn. The group offers excellent tips, flexible hours, and a friendly, family-style work environment.

50% off food for you and 3 others, free food and drinks on shift, and strong training and progression opportunities are provided. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen with a supportive team and a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

• No experience needed – just a great attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Flexible with shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
• Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with basic food prep when needed.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Help with unloading and storing deliveries.
• Keep fridges, freezers, and dry stores organised.
• Empty bins and manage waste safely.
• Support chefs and kitchen team during busy periods.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
• Be a reliable and supportive part of the kitchen team.
