Job summary

Strongdor Limited is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team at the Morecambe head office. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial information, supporting business decisions, and maintaining efficient finance processes.

A full UK driving license is required as you will travel between local sites. You’ll own balance sheet reconciliations, stock accounting, implement and improve controls, support month-end activities, and work with ReadSoft for invoice postings.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out account reconciliations.
• Experience accounting for stock and inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• AAT part-qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACA.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations including stock and factory accounts.
• Maintain stock reconciliations and accounting records.
• Support implementation and improvement of financial controls and processes.
• Assist with month-end activities and finance projects.
• Work with teams across the business to improve systems and controls.
